Peer Review Process
1. Electronic Submission & Desk Review
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the EDAS submission platform at:
https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=35274 .
The Editor conducts an initial Desk Review to assess whether the manuscript aligns with the focus and scope of the conference.
2. Plagiarism & Ethics Screening
During the initial editorial phase, all manuscripts undergo a similarity check using iThenticate software.
Submissions must maintain an overall similarity index of less than 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold or violating publication ethics will be rejected immediately (Desk Rejection).
3. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening proceed to the Peer Review process. Each paper is independently evaluated by an expert reviewer without revealing author or reviewer identity.
Assessment criteria include:
- Originality and scientific contribution
- Technical/research depth and methodology
- Relevance to conference topics
- Clarity, readability, and overall manuscript quality
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the Editor makes the final decision:
Acceptance
Authors receive an acceptance notification via email and EDAS, and are required to submit the final camera-ready paper by the specified deadline.
Revision
Authors must thoroughly address all reviewer comments and recommendations. Revised manuscripts, along with an Author Response Table, must be uploaded back to EDAS within one (1) week of email notification.
Rejection
Authors receive a decision notification accompanied by reviewer feedback to help improve the manuscript for future submissions.
5. Collaborating Journal Selection Pathway (Optional)
Once a manuscript successfully completes the conference peer-review process and is accepted, the committee may recommend selected high-quality papers to the Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of a collaborating journal.
If Accepted by the Journal EiC
The committee contacts the author via email for formal approval. Upon agreement, the author adapts the manuscript to the journal's template and submits it directly to the journal's system for final production/publication steps.
If Rejected or Declined by the Author/EiC
The manuscript remains published in the standard ICGTD 2026 conference proceedings.
